Jessica Delgado
Expert Level - Personal Trainer
Hi! My name is Jessica, but you can call me Jess (she/her). I'm originally from the Garfield Ridge area and now living in Bridgeport. I got into personal training after realizing that pursuing physical therapy wasn’t financially feasible—but I still had a strong desire to help people both physically and mentally. Personal training was a natural fit and aligned well with what I studied at the University of Missouri.
In addition to training, I coach a 16U travel softball team. My focus areas include strength training, speed and agility, injury prevention, and recovery. I love designing workouts that are effective but don’t always feel like “traditional” exercise.
Outside of the gym and the softball field, I enjoy watching movies and reading—especially psychological thrillers and romantic comedies. Some of my favorite books are The Housemaid by Freida McFadden and You Will Be Mine by Natasha Preston (my favorite author). My go-to movies are Inception and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.
I’m still exploring and haven’t picked a favorite spot in Logan Square yet, but if you’re a fellow Mizzou alum, LP’s Tap House in Lincoln Park is a great place to catch an SEC game.
Hope to see you on the gym floor soon!
